So I was at the hospital yesterday and have some new hospital stories:

-A woman called asking for directions to the hospital from Colorado. "Well," I said, "once you're in Ottawa..."

-I put hand sanitizer on the bite wound on my ankle and it really really hurt because that stuff's like 70% alcohol and it really really hurt.

-Eric, my somewhat useless partner, left me to go to the dentist around two. People these days, jeez.

-Me: Can I help you?
Bloke: Oh I bet you could..
Me: erm, right. Last name of the person you're looking for?
Bloke: What's your last name?
...I mean for fuck sakes...

-I had flowers on my desk all day because a family sent some to the hospital and no one else wanted them. It was lovely.

-I finally figured out how to make 8.5x14" copies. It really is harder than it seems, I swear.

In the end, I punched out early to go with my dad to get a new printer. Printers have changed within the last five years, I'm impressed.

Oh, and to my anonymous commenter, I spent all night wondering what you were on about on the last post. And then I figured it out. Star Trek? Really?
